Musical Play with Ms. Rachel
Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers are invited to engage in creating joyful music with their caregivers. Each thirty-five minute session will include singing games, movement exploration, and a story. Ms. Rachel’s experience includes nine years of elementary music in local public schools, a Masters’ of Fine Arts in Music Education, and a Master’s certificate in Kodaly Music Education. She currently enjoys her days as a full-time mom to her two daughters. She is passionate about connecting care-givers with each other and their communities so that we may be the village so many of us need.
Join us for laughter amongst the music and joy in midst of the song for Musical Play with Ms. Rachel! Children are $5 each with babies under 6 months free.
Basics of Baby Wearing
Join Jessica Featherstone, Babywearing Consultant, for a walkthrough on the basics of babywearing and trying on a carrier for yourself on April 20th at 9:00am. If you are a first-time parent, this class is for you. If you already have kids at home and are wondering how you will take care of a newborn as well, this class is for you. This 30 minute class will walk through several styles of carriers and you will have the chance to try several out. The class is $10 for two people.
Jessica has over 8 years of experience teaching babywearing and carried her daughter until Sky stopped asking. Jessica started volunteering and teaching with Milwaukee Babywearing in 2015. Jessica has been trained by the Center for Babywearing Studies and done 100's of hours teaching and and one-on-one consulting.
